●  What digital platforms are students currently using to develop their professional network?

Nowadays, for our students, we will use a large number of digital platforms to study, work and socialize. Such as brightspace, zoom, wechat, linkedIn, Instagram and more. Nowadays, because of COVID-19, these digital platforms are becoming more and more important to our students. Teachers will choose to teach online, and students will choose to write homework online. The digital platform is very convenient for the current situation.

●  What can you (as a student) consider to expand your professional learning network?

I think for students, blogs and websites can better expand their learning. We post our thoughts and opinions on it to share with others. You can also learn something from other people’s blogs and websites.

●  In your network, how can you create a digital identity/reputation?

We must pay attention to the protection of our privacy when creating our own digital identities. We can upload some of our daily life on the digital platform, and we can also pass on our ideas to other people. Let others know you, but you must not expose your privacy, such as phone number, ID card and home address.

●  Consider what a local employer would do if you applied for a job with them – can they search the content, is it of benefit to the career path, does it hinder the opportunity of employment?

We can apply for a Facebook and LinkedIn account. Our words and deeds will leave traces on the above, and employers will select the objects of their own minds for screening. If your language and talents are better, you can be appreciated by employers and you can have a job opportunity. If your words are inappropriate and your ability is not good, you will lose the opportunity to work and the employer will not choose you.
